Are British people similar to USA Texans?
Like in Britain you have rodeos and horse racing in the English countryside and English hobbies.
In Texas you have gun shows and rodeos and cowboys and Bush and wild western settlers.
Don't British people then get this urge to move to Texas and pick up a gun and shoot and wear cowboy boots and drink 20/20 and listen to hot new country where the stars at night are big and bright?
I would think that anyone in the whole world would get the urge to see the stars at night where they are big and bright.
I don't know about Brits, but I do know that Texans are soooooooo homesick when they get transferred to another state for a job. I have a dear friend who did that and their family painted a huge Texan state flag on their garage door.
Texans are PROUD! ... in a great way!
