Automatic or hand-wind?
My dad will be turning 60 and 'm thinking of getting him a mechanical wristwatch. Should I go for a convenient automatic or a vintage manual wind? Which would be more likely to impress uppity white folk?
How about one that winds itself up when he moves his hand... I know that Rolex has watches like that... but I am very certain that there are other less pricey brands that do the same.
